Samsung Galaxy S8 New Leaked Images Highlighted A Seemingly Bezel-Less Large Screen With No Buttons; See Price Point Inside
Caitlin MooreSamsung Galaxy S8 new images have surfaced online and it showed a wide display with no navigations buttons at all. The seemingly bezel-less device is suggested to sport a larger screen than the company's Galaxy Note series. A successor to the problematic Samsung Galaxy S7, the upcoming flagship device is expected to redeem the brand in the smartphone market.
A report from Evan Blass via Venture Beat revealed the front and back images of the alleged Samsung Galaxy S8. As per the report, the flagship smartphone will have two versions that will come with 5.8-inch and 6.2-inch QHD Super AMOLED screen. Apart from its high-quality display, the screen covers 83 percent of the phone's front panel.
Interestingly, due to the wide screen coverage, the company opted to embed the device's fingerprint scanner into the back panel. Additionally, sources also claimed that the Seoul-based tech giant didn't have enough space to put its logo at the front of the smartphone. The leaked image from Blass actually showed a front panel with no Samsung brand on it.
Dubbed as Dream and Dream 2, both Samsung Galaxy S8 models will equip the company's Edge display also called as the "infinity display" as per a report by The Guardian. This represents a screen that is curved downward on opposite sides. Users who own a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge should be familiar with how the screen display looks like.
As for the specs, Samsung Galaxy S8 is speculated to feature its very own personal assistant called Bixby. It will also equip a 12MP back camera and an 8MP front shutter, reportedly. However, users may expect the cost of the new mobile phones to be more expensive than its predecessor.
Samsung Galaxy S8 price point is expected to be around €100 or $106 higher than the amount of Samsung Galaxy S7. See the speculated details of the smartphone in the clip below so you can make a better judgment if it's worth its price tag.
