Verizon customers who have been long waiting for Samsung Galaxy S3 to arrive have good news here. Verizon has confirmed July 10 release date for the Galaxy S3 to hit carrier's stores. In addition, Verizon is delivering preordered Galaxy S3's to its customers starting today.
Verizon Wireless will launch the 16GB version of Galaxy S3 on July 10 for $199 with two year contract. The 32GB model of Galaxy S3, which is priced at $249 on two year contract, will arrive for in-store purchases at Verizon after a couple of weeks, but it will be available for online purchase starting July 10.
Meanwhile, Verizon Wireless is implementing its shared data plans before the launch of new smartphone. Samsung Galaxy S3 has been up for preorders at Verizon's Web site since early June. Many of Verizon customers, who preordered the new smartphone, are now receiving notices that the carrier is starting preorder rollout and preorders can reach customer's doors as soon as today.
Arrival of Samsung Galaxy S3 at Verizon will mark the availability of Galaxy S3 across the four major U.S. carriers. Pricing is almost same across the other carriers, except at T-Mobile. T-Mobile is charging $279 and $379 for 16GB and 32GB version of Samsung Galaxy S3 respectively.
In addition, U.S. Cellular and regional carrier C-Spire will also offer Galaxy S3, but none of them announced any release date.
