Netflix recently announced plans to add several new titles to its gaming service over the following months during its Geeked Week 2023 event.
Critically praised games like "Hades" and a game based on the hugely famous Netflix series "Money Heist" are among these additions.
In addition to being the industry leader in streaming entertainment, Netflix gives its users access to a vast library of mobile games compatible with iOS and Android smartphones.
Notable series on the platform include "Stranger Things" and "Black Mirror."
Users may access an ever-expanding selection of games and a wealth of movies and shows for just $7 a month, all without any advertisements or in-app sales.
Expansion of Their Cloud Gaming Business
While concentrating on mobile releases, Netflix is growing its cloud gaming business and customizing games for TV. Planned games are platform-specific, akin to console experiences, and currently have two titles in beta.
These games are meant to be played on TV or PC rather than mobile. Blockbuster gaming is indicated by hiring prominent industry executives and PC game developers.
But before any particular TV show or PC game appears, it will take some time. By tailoring recommendations, Netflix wants to ensure users can play games that work for them. User involvement still needs to be discovered despite the popularity of mobile gaming.
Although it expects growth as the gaming service expands, Netflix is happy with the existing player count. Even though cloud gaming is still in its infancy, they are confident about its future.
