Gamers across the world are in for a treat. The ROG (Republic of Gamers) Phone, an Android gaming smartphone by ASUS, is now available for pre-order.

The exciting news came to light when a Reddit user noticed that Telia Company is accepting pre-orders for the ROG phone for roughly $930. The pre-order reportedly comes with a free ROG Delta Type-C Headset, as per Phone Area.

The $930 pre-order price might be high to many, but others believed that the price is only right considering the smartphone's impressive features and specs. It is said that the ROG phone will feature a 6.0-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels.

It is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC with a 2.96 GHz + 1.7 GHz octa-core (4+4) Kryo 385 CPU and an Adreno 630 GPU. It comes with 8GB of RAM and a 512GB of internal storage.

The ROG phone is powered by a 4,000 mAh battery life and features a cooling technology dubbed "GameCool" which disperses heat to keep the motherboard cool. It also features a so-called "X Mode," which optimizes gaming performance and restricts background apps.

As for the camera, the much-awaited smartphone will have a dual rear camera - a 12-megapixel primary camera with a conventional lens, while the second one is 8-megapixel with a 120-degree field of view. The front camera will have 8-megapixel, which is perfect for selfies.

The smartphone will also come with unique gaming accessories. The "AeroActive Cooler" accessory helps to keep the device cool by acting as an external cooling fan, while the "TwinView Dock" gives a secondary screen for the smartphone.

In addition to that, the Mobile Desktop Dock allows users to match their ROG Phone to a desktop monitor. Other accessories include the Gamevice Controller and WiGig Dock. Each accessory will be sold separately.

"Although we created the ROG Phone to raise the bar for mobile gaming, its compelling technology, and versatile accessories lay a foundation to redefine what portable computers can be," the Taiwanese electronics company, ASUS, said in a press statement. "This is more than just a gaming device; it's a well-rounded digital companion that channels the history of the Republic of Gamers while offering a glimpse into its future," it added.

As of this time, ASUS has yet to announce the release date for ROG Phone.
