Freeform's "The Fosters" is in its fourth season, and it looks like the show's fourteenth episode will be full of drama and tension. The upcoming episode of "The Fosters" is titled "Doors and Windows."
According to CarterMatt, the upcoming episode of "The Fosters" will show viewers a glimpse of the struggles that Jesus will soon face. The titular Fosters, made up of lesbian couple Stef and Lena, struggle to live each day despite the various issues that they and their children (one biological, four adopted) face.
However, not all families are perfect, and even the fictional family the Fosters are no different. Everyone has secrets, and Mariana has secretly taken Jesus' ADHD medication. Callie "had a secret relationship with Brandon," and Brandon suddenly makes it clear "that he is not going to be going to Julliard because of his SAT test scandal." These issues will all be tackled in "Doors and Windows" as Stef decides that the most effective way to get her children to talk to her "is to make it almost impossible for them to have any privacy."
The official synopsis for Season 4's fourteenth episode reads, "After Brandon confesses to Stef that he didn't get into Juilliard, she decides she's fed up with all of the kids' secrets and removes their bedroom doors. Mariana starts seeing a therapist to deal with the trauma of Nick's actions.
While Jesus struggles with physical therapy, Brandon realizes that music might be a good way to help get through to him. Callie's biological father Robert (guest star Kerr Smith, "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D," "Dawson's Creek") brings in his highly paid attorneys to handle Callie's case, which causes a conflict with Stef and Lena."
While Stef's method oversteps the privacy of her children, it is understandable since none of her children ask her for advice when it comes to their problems. As a mother, it is definitely frustrating when your children keep secrets from you, especially when it concerns serious issues. "The Fosters" airs every Tuesday at 8 p.m. on Freeform, per TV News & Views.
