Who would have thought that the addition of genitals in "Conan Exiles" games could serve such a big purpose in the game? When all of us thought of the idea to be an NSFW, it turns out to be the base for a major in-game feature. "Conan Exiles" offers genitals for the purpose of Castration. No matter how cringe worthy that sounds, but it is the truth. This was revealed during a Reddit AMA session last weekend where the developer Funcom features this new ritual in the game.

"Conan Exiles" is based on the barbaric world of Conan the Barbarian which pretty much explains the idea behind adding of such a cold-blooded act in the game. The developers of the game are working hard to bring out more gruesome combat mechanics for the open-world survival game.

When we thought that "Conan Exiles" completely nude male and female models was a controversial feature, the idea of castration pops out of nowhere. This is not the first time Funcom came up with such nudity plans as its previous title, "Age of Conan" was an MMORPG that featured nudity of females as well. But, never had anyone seen male nudity before. And, now it all comes out to the conclusion that the addition of male genitals was for a ritual in the game that involves removing of the testicles.

The Castration ability will let players drag their enemies to the sacrificial altars and do the cruel act in order to gain a huge power boost. Moreover, Funcom also reportedly revealed that players could collect the cut-off testicles, heads, limbs, etc. as trophies in "Conan Exiles."

All this is set to arrive in the near future when the game gets updated. "Conan Exiles" is still on an early Steam version. An Xbox One version of the game is reportedly scheduled for a release in spring later this year.
