Bandai Namco along with Slightly Mad Studios have revealed "Project Cars 2" for the PlayStation 4, PC via Steam, and Xbox One reportedly releasing in Q4 2017. A majority of fans loved the first instalment, so there is expected hype among them for the next one as well.

"Project Cars 2" offers additional features over the previous part with an expansion of more than 170 cars and over 60 race tracks. In addition the game will offer the new Online Championships game mode which had been requested by fans worldwide. On top of that, players will also get racing disciplines such as mud racing, snow, dirt, and ice. Sources say that the best part is the game's PC edition which not only supports 12K resolution, but also features virtual reality gaming.

"Project Cars 2" offers the next-generation of car racing after the award-winning first part in the series. With intuitive new car models offering a thrilling racing experience under the toughest conditions is what the game is all about. Players are definitely going to experience a rush of adrenaline when playing one of the many tracks present in the game.

Sources note that the game has been tested by top-notch race drivers to ensure a genuine racing experience for gamers. This reportedly allows "Project Cars 2" to host a racing experience as much close to real life as possible. The developers call it the most technically advanced racing game on the planet till date.

"Project Cars 2" offers more than 170 licensed cars through the most popular brands. It also features the largest track collection with a full VR headset experience at 12K resolution (PC only). There is also additional tuning of the controller pad. The game offers challenging AI configuration as well.

Additional features included in "Project Cars 2" are new vehicle types with classic types such as IndyCar and Rallcross. The new online mode lets players race against each other using one of the many cars available in the game. Plus, players can race in the online championship events as well.

"Project Cars 2" includes various race condition mappings such as dry or wet, night or day conditions. Race tracks offer various surfaces such as dirt, tarmac or ice. There is a feature called LiveTrack 3.0 in the game which affects the performance of the cars including the handling and grip in real-time scenario while keeping in mind the accuracy in the surface deformities and physics. The game also features a 24-hour cycle that generates ambience and atmospheric conditions in the game with seasonal and weather effects.
