"Horizon Zero Dawn" and "Red Dead Redemption 2" figure as top favorites by developers themselves in the most anticipated PlayStation 4 list. It appears that developers themselves have been leaning on some titles, similar to plain gamers rooting for AAA titles.

Ubisoft, Rocksteady, Media Molecule and a whole bunch of AAA game developers are anticipating "Horizon: Zero Dawn" by Guerilla Games. In fact, the list is too long that it might even take an article of its own to fully picture how developers feel about "Horizon: Zero Dawn." Given that giant robot dinosaurs are something unique in game niche plus a kickass female heroine, "Horizon: Zero Dawn" claimed the top of most anticipated list.

Ubisoft's Jason Vandenberghe recalls how he was stopped in his track when he viewed "Horizon: Zero Dawn" in a trade show in Australia. He said that it literally enchanted him and the next thing that came to him is to play "Horizon: Zero Dawn." Vandenberghe said what are particularly enticing about "Horizon: Zero Dawn" is the strong character design and the execution of action RPG elements.

"Horizon: Zero Dawn" will unleash on Feb. 28 exclusively for PlayStation 4 System. Preorders for both digital and physical disc copies are already available.

Meanwhile, BioWare's Michael Gamble is rooting for "Read Dead Redemption 2." This Western shooter/ RPG/ action mixture is developer Rockstar's answer why they have to shelve GTA6 for the meantime. Gamble thinks that "Red Dead Redemptions 2" has indeed justified why it should be ahead of other AAA games from its ward.

Apart from open-world adventure that "Red Dead Redemption 2" offers, the technology behind its development is another matter to consider. Cowboy thrill in "Red Dead Redemption 2" promises to be unsurpassed while heavily rooting to compelling narrative at the same time.

"Red Dead Redemption 2" is now open for pre-orders. However, there is no tentative date of release yet apart from Fall 2017 that is listed in Rockstar's website.
