Let's compare two old smartphones in the market: the Google Nexus 5X and the Motorola Moto X to help you decide whether you need an upgrade or not.

The Moto X sports a smaller 4.7" capacitive AMOLED touchscreen as compared to the Nexus 5X which has a 5.2-inch IPS LCD display.

The Nexus 5X has better resolution with oleophobic coating while Gorilla Glass 3 protection is found in both phones.

Currently, the Nexus 5X runs on Android 6.0 with planned upgrade to Nougat 7.0 while the Moto X has already been upgrade to Android Lollipop.

In terms of faster processing, the Nexus 5X flaunts hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor with 1.4GHz clocking speed. On the other hand, the Moto X competes with only dual-core 1.7GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro processor.

The Moto X comes with 2GB RAM and 16/32GB internal space. Unlikely, the Nexus 5X is launched in three variants of 16/32/64 GB internal space coupled with 2GB RAM, without any memory card slot.

The gaming experience is enhanced in the Nexus 5X with Adreno 418 GPU while the Moto X has Adreno 320 GPU

The camera gets an upgrade with10MP in the Moto X as rear camera coupled with LED flash. The Nexus 5X comes with 12.3MP rear camera, studded with laser autofocus and dual-LED flash.

The front snapper shines with 5MP lens in the Nexus 5x while the Moto X has only 2MP selfie camera.

The battery size has been increased in the Nexus 5X with 2700mAH battery against the 2200mAH battery in the Moto X. Additionally, the Nexus 5X comes with fingerprint scanner.

The Nexus 5X is currently priced at Rs.29000 in India as compared to Rs.19000 price tag of the Moto X. Though the Nexus 5X is better than the Moto X, it's not worth the money right after matching its price and specifications.
