"Hawaii Five-0" Season 7 had the highest number of viewership as it aired its episode 7 last November 4 with the title "Ka makuanhine a me ke keikikane," which translates to "Mother and Son."

According to Deadline, the show's episode garnered 1.2 viewers, aged 18-49, which is higher than the previous episode of "Hawaii Five-0" Season 7.

The synopsis of episode 7 states that "Five-0 must free McGarret's mother, Doris (Christine Lahti) when Catherine (Michelle Borth) informs them that she was captured and is about to be executed after attempting to free Wo Fat's imprisoned father. Also,Chin loses his appeal to have Sara's adoption delayed, and she must move on to Mexico."

It was said that the viewers were glued on the episode because of the relationship of Doris McGarret and Steve McGarret(Alex O'Loughlin).

The Season 7, Episode 7 is full-packed with action, but what's more beautiful about it is that you also had a few chance to laugh and bring back memories and scenes from the past.

Meanwhile, the upcoming episode is said to be entitled "Hana Komo Pae" which will include hostage takings and kidnappings.

The synopsis for Season 7, Episode 8 reads that "while Danny chaperones Grace's winter formal, terrorists seize the venue and hold everyone hostage in order to kidnap a diplomat's son."

Reports said that avid fans might see Danny doing all his best to save everyone from any harm as he handles the talks with the terrorists on the inside. On the other hand, his colleagues at the Five-0 might also do anything on the outside to minimize the situation and make one and all feel safe and secured.

The next episode is certainly not going to end in a good way as everyone will be in danger though it will start with Danny being so sweet to Grace.

Some speculations suggested that the new episode might feature Steve and Catherine being engaged as the supposed wedding proposal of Steve is going to be cancelled. Rumors stated that Steve may break up with current girlfriend Lyn (Sara Carter). This is yet to be verified.
