Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is the latest offering from the Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi. With the model competing against premium flagship smartphones, we thought of doing a spec comparison against the iPhone 7 Plus and see how the device stacks up.

From the physical dimensions, the iPhone 7 Plus is taller, wider, and denser than the Xiaomi Mi Note 2. A Sleek design is slightly more pronounced for the Apple smartphone.

With both models providing comparable screen resolution, the difference comes to screen size. The Xiaomi smartphone is slightly bigger than the iPhone 7 Plus as per NDTV Gadgets.

Apple A10 Fusion powers the iPhone 7 Plus whereas the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 powers the Mi Note 2. The iPhone 7 Plus seems to have the faster CPU than the Xiaomi model.

The internal storage and the RAM capacity of the Mi Note 2 are bigger than what we have in the iPhone 7 Plus.

The Xiaomi smartphone clearly beats the Apple smartphone when it comes to camera. It comes with 22.56 MP rear camera and a 8 MP front camera whereas Apple iPhone 7 Plus comes with a 12 MP rear camera and 7 MP front camera. With a higher resolution front and rear cameras it clearly has the better picture quality than the Apple's model.

The Chinese smartphone also beats the Apple smartphones when it comes to battery capacity. According to Phone Arena, quick charging a feature Apple is yet to introduce to its products, is available for Mi Note 2 model.

The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is the only Dual SIM phone among the two. The iPhone 7 Plus has removed the headphone jack which is still available in the Xiaomi model.

With its latest offer, Xiaomi has definitely made a headstart competition with flagship smartphones. Its competitive features like storage capacity and better battery capacity, users definitely have a new smartphone to look up to. The iPhone 7 Plus with innovative features like the Air Pod technology is still one of the best smartphones in today's market.
