Park Shin Hye and Kim Rae Won played on-screen lovers in the SBS' medical romance drama "Doctors," and fans adored their chemistry, leading some to believe that they are dating in real life.
Park Shin Hye and Kim Rae Won played Yoo Hye Jung and Hong Ji Gong, respectively, and reported to be one of the main reasons for the popularity of "Doctors." While they looked great together as a couple, the two seem to be not romantically involved with each other.
During one of the press event for "Doctors," Kim Rae Won praised his co-star for their undeniable chemistry on-screen.
"We cannot but have good chemistry because she really cares about an actor who plays the opposite role," the 35-year-old actor said, reported Inquisitr.
"There are actors who care only about their roles. But in this drama, Shin Hye and I were all open to each other and thus had no other option but to show good chemistry," he added.
When asked whether there is a possibility of a real-life romance between him and the 26-year-old actress, KimRae Won said he was like an elder brother to all his junior co-stars.
"Park and other junior actors rather felt comfortable with me and treated me like their brother who is a few years older than them," he said.
Meanwhile, due to the popularity of the show, speculations about "Doctors" season 2 have been going around the web.
Rumor has it that the stars of "Doctors" are currently in contract negotiations for the second installment of the show. Kim Rae Won is very much excited to reprise his role, reports added.
However, it seems like the next installment will depend on Park Shin Hye, who was reported to be wanting to do another project that would challenge her skills more as an actress.
Right now, there has been no official announcement regarding "Doctors" season 2,but fans of Park Shin Hye can watch out for her as the "Doctors" leading lady has been confirmed to be in a new crime solving film entitled "Silent Witness" alongside Ryu Joon Yeol and Choi Min Shik.
