Good news awaits "Gilmore Girls" fans amidst the lack of news regarding the revival. Season 1 of "Gilmore Girls" will be on Netflix Australia starting this July.
Lauren Graham aka Lorelai announced this via Netflix's Facebook page, reported The Vine. Additionally, a promo was also released last Monday, which shows Graham standing in front of a backdrop of Lorelai and Rory Gilmore's town, Stars Hollow.
Graham is seen holding up several signs near the town square, revealing that the original series will soon be available in countries like France, Italy, Argentina, and Saudi Arabia, reported US Magazine.
"Any place you watch Netflix, you can watch Gilmore Girls starting July 1. You may have heard that new episodes of Gilmore Girls are coming to Netflix later this year. We can't wait," Graham, 49, says in the video.
"Maybe you've seen Gilmore Girls, or maybe you've never seen Gilmore Girls and always meant to watch it," she continued.
Notably in January, Netflix announced that it would be bringing back the show after nine years from its original run in 2000 to 2007. The reboot will consist of four 90-minute episodes, with each episode representing a new season, namely - winter, spring, summer, and fall. However, Netflix is yet to announce an official premiere date.
The highly anticipated revival will be reuniting several actors, including Alexis Bledel, Scott Patterson, Melissa McCarthy, Milo Ventimigilia, Jared Padalecki, and Matt Czuchry.
Graham opened up about reprising her role as Lorelai Gilmore with TVLine in January. "The fans had to want it badly enough that they didn't stop asking. The outpouring of enthusiasm and joy is just completely humbling and so appreciated. I sound like some terrible self-help guru, but I feel so full of appreciation," she said at the time.
It seems the repeat telecast of "Gilmore Girls" is perhaps the only positive news that fans will get as of now. Stay tuned for more updates about the revival of the show.
