'The Flash' Season 2 has just ended recently but spoilers about the upcoming season is already swirling on the Internet. This has been brought in light after the cliffhanger scene was unveiled. And according to recent reports, the "Flashpoint Arc" might be adapted.
The finale of the superhero series revealed that the man behind the Iron Mask is Earth-3 Jay Garrick, who is actually Henry Allen. But then, who will Barry Allen face when he was about to go back in time and save his mother, Nora Allen?
According to Parent Herald, there is a good chance that the show will adapt the "Flashpoint Arc." So, what fans could expect on this news?
As per Gamespot, the arc is where Barry Allen or The Flash must "find the Flashpoint" before it destroys the past, present, and the future. Read the parts of the plot summary below:
"Flashpoint is an event focusing on Barry Allen and the rest of the Flash Family's efforts to fix the fissures in time, made by unknown forces. It was first mentioned in the sixth issue of Geoff Johns' The Flash, and will later be seen in a five issue mini-series written by Johns and drawn by Andy Kubert starting in May 2011,"
The arc is said to be accompanied by a fifteen three-issue miniseries, as well as a number of one-shots. Other superheroes like Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, might have an appearance as well for they could be affected by the turn of events.
Also, if the series will take the "Flashpoint" story arc from the comics, Eobard Thawne aka Reverse-Flash might appear on the show as well. "The Flash" air date is still unknown and other information might be available soon.
