"MythWalker," a ground-breaking geolocation fantasy role-playing game, is NantGames' first project and will launch on iOS and Android.

Set in the enchanted land of Mytherra, players undertake missions directed by an enigmatic figure known only as The Child, looking into attacks on this parallel reality.

Players go on an exciting journey of adventure and bravery as they defend Mytherra, discover links between other worlds, and go on gripping adventures.

Beginning on November 15 in Australia, the closed beta will roll out to more countries in 2024.

What to Expect in 'MythWalker^TM'

Players can choose from three unique hero species in this first look at "MythWalker:" the devoted dog-inspired Wulven, the entrancing bird-like Annu, and the adaptable Mytherran Humans.

Every species offers different skills and viewpoints, adding a distinct flavor to the gameplay.

In addition, the game offers three playable classes: the Mighty Warrior, the enigmatic Spellslinger, and the pious Priest. These classes accommodate a variety of play styles and tactics while providing unique strengths and fighting capabilities.

Players face more than sixty enemies as they explore various areas and biomes. This creates a playground for experimenting with different movements, spells, and weaponry.

As players navigate this fascinating environment, the diversity guarantees a dynamic and captivating experience.

Business and artistic endeavors are also features; engaging mining and woodcutting minigames allow players to gather resources for crafting and trading in Hyport, the city where the players are based.

Stanna's Forge is the central location for making and improving armor and weaponry, and it is run by the knowledgeable Gem Stanna the Blacksmith.

As an alternative, Madra "Mad" MacLachlan, a retired Wulven adventurer, runs Mad's Market, making buying and trading all kinds of goods easier.

Future Iterations and Expansions

There is anticipation that as the closed beta develops, several new game modes will be added in later testing. Anticipated features include social interaction components, cooperative and multiplayer activities, engaging story objectives, a wide cast of characters, and more.
