Xbox One Backwards Compatibility Program: Four New Titles Added Including 'Dead Rising 2: Case Zero' and 'Dead Rising 2: Case West'
Coco DollangangerFollowing Microsoft's announcement on Tuesday for the Xbox Game Pass, a subscription somewhat the same as Netflix for Xbox One, which offers members access to a list of free Xbox One and Xbox 360 games, the tech giant has again confirmed additional four new games to the Xbox One Backwards Compatibility program. Fans are now being hyped as these new titles are pretty famous since their release.
According to Express, the Xbox One Backwards Compatibility Program additions include "Meet the Robinsons," "Cars 2: The Video Game," ""Dead Rising 2: Case Zero" and "Dead Rising 2: Case West." The last two games are both popular titles receiving more than 7,000 and 10,000 votes on Microsoft's official website.
These four titles were all accidentally added to the completed list of Xbox One Backwards Compatible site earlier but were pulled before yesterday's big announcement. There are now more than 330 games to choose from on the Xbox One Backwards Compatibility Program, which is consistently boosted by the Games with Gold Program.
The Games with Gold Program offers the Xbox One users a stable streaming of classic 360 titles to download although it doesn't include new Xbox One Backwards Compatibility Program all the time. When Microsoft announced the Xbox Game Pass Service, fans are left wondering what would be the Games with Gold Program future holds but Microsoft has explained that both will exist together as they are two different services.
"Games with Gold and Xbox Game Pass are two different service offerings with unique benefits," a Microsoft representative told Kotaku. The Xbox Game Pass will be launched this spring, which provides subscribers unlimited access to more than 100 Xbox One and Xbox 360 backwards compatibility games including "Payday 2," "Gears of War: Ultimate Edition" "Halo 5: Guardians," "Terraria," "Mad Max" and "Fable" for $9.99 USD every month.
The Xbox Game Pass Service is available for testing on Xbox One for users in the Xbox One Insider Program with a limited selection of games before its scheduled release sometime this spring. As for the additional four new titles on Xbox One Backwards Compatibility Program, they apparently get all fans thrilled upon Microsoft's announcement.
