‘Dance Moms’ Season 7: EP Confirms Reality Show To Continue As Judge Sets Abby Lee Sentencing Date On March 8
Vittorio HernandezBryan Stinson, executive producer of “Dance Moms,” confirmed that all of the girls would return to the reality show as a follow up to his statement in early February that the show will continue. His assurance is timely in light of a Pittsburgh judge setting the final sentencing date of dance coach Abby Lee on March 8.
30 Months Jail Time
Abby Lee, dance coach of “Dance Moms,” could be jailed up to 30 months or probation for a bankruptcy fraud case depending on the result of the court meeting, New York Daily News reports. Chief Judge Joy Flowers Conti, however, allowed Abby Lee’s lawyer to reschedule the hearing to March 9 if needed to give her team more time to deliberate.
Her failure to declare more than $750,000 of income from “Dance Moms,” caused Abby Lee to be indicted on 20 counts of fraud, to include false bankruptcy declarations in October 2015, bankruptcy fraud, and concealment of assets.
Besides those cases, the “Dance Moms” host was also accused of allegedly smuggling $10,000 Australian dollars into the U.S. which breaches a law. The regulation that Abby Lee broke was the need to file a currency transaction report if more than $10,000 worth of currency from another country is transposed.
Advance Taping For Seasons 7 & 8
There are unconfirmed reports that “Dance Moms” Season 7 ended filming this week and had done some filming for Season 8. The tapings were done to ensure the Lifetime TV show has some episodes in the can while Abby Lee spends time in prison, if convicted.
Meanwhile, spoilers from Dancemoms Wikia for “Dance Moms” Season 7 Episode 15 say that the group dance titled “Family Court” won first place in the Teen Group and placed 1st Overall, and the Brynn and Kendall due titled “Each Other,” also placed 1st in the Teen Duet/Trio and placed Overall. Elliana and Lilliana’s duet titled Oceans 2” also got 1st place in the Petite Duet/Trio and placed 1st Overall, but Camryn and Nia’s duet titled “Make Me Over” did not place. But the episode does not have an air date yet.
