In the upcoming episode of "Billions" season 2, we will witness a story that features Axelrod and his way of celebrating his enormous wealth. And, his latest plan on spending that wealth could be by buying an NFL team. But, he is got to beware of Chuck.

According to the "Billions" season 2 episode 3 "Optimal Play" synopsis, Axe is considering buying an NFL team. But, Chuck is on the lookout through a low-level informant. According to the promo, there is a battle going on between the two and has little to do with wealth at the moment. Axelrod (Damien Lewis) wants Chuck Rhoades (Paul Giamatti) out of the way.

We are aware of his grudge against the US District Attorney, so he looks forward to his revenge on Chuck. "Billions" season 2 episode 3 "Optimal Play" will feature Axelrod planning out to get Chuck once and for all. But, this is not going to be easy due to a big problem. He is unable to find any sort of shady stuff against the highly respected and powerful US District Attorney.

Fans will witness further in the season how Axelrod plans on taking Chuck down. At this point, the former has nothing to lose at his end which gives him an advantage at dealing with Chuck. By the looks of it, supporting character who will play a major part between the two is going to be Chuck's wife Wendy (Maggie Siff).
