Latest and rather saddening updates about the "Game of Thrones" cast member Neil Fingleton who was portrayed as Mag the Mighty Giant in the series has recently died. Fingleton, standing at 7ft 7in, was honored as the tallest man in the UK in 2007.

Fingleton grew up in County Durham and later moved to the city to build a career in basketball. He spent two years at the North Carolina University and later was transferred to the Holy Cross Massachusetts. The "Game of Thrones" Mag the Mighty giant role player had a successful professional basketball career in countries like Italy, China, Spain, England, and Greece. After that, he switched his career to acting.

He played the "Game of Thrones" Mag the Mighty Giant's role in 2014. Some fans may also be familiar with his villainous portrayal as The Fisher King in BBC's Doctor Who. Neil was aware of his giant size which gathered a lot of attention wherever he went. But, it never bothered him. He never felt embarrassed of his physique but liked the way he was. He felt it to be a unique and original trait he had been gifted. Neil came from a good family which always made him feel happy about his surroundings, so his height never bothered him.

Unfortunately, it is sad to hear that the 36-year old good-hearted actor who played the iconic role of "Game of Thrones" Mag the Mighty giant is no more. Reports note of the reason behind his tragic death being of heart failure. Fans from all over the world have shared their emotional condolences for the actor and his family.

With Neil's untimely death, we are surely left depressed, and we hope that his family can get the strength to move on with the unfortunate loss. "Game of Thrones" would surely miss his presence.
