"Ashes of the Singularity: Escalation" recently received its latest patch, update 2.1. It is now also being offered at a special discounted rate of 50 percent off its regular price until March 2.

Stardock Entertainment announced on February 23 that "Ashes of the Singularity: Escalation" is getting a massive update on Steam. To celebrate such a momentous feat, Stardock offers a 50 percent discount on "Ashes of the Singularity: Escalation" regular price. The special discount offer will commence on February 23 and will last until March 3, 2017, for $19.99/£14.99. For those who have been wanting to have the game, it is the best time to get one, says CGM Online.

Update 2.1

The most recent "Ashes of the Singularity: Escalation" update 2.1 introduced fresh maps, rebalanced several maps, and added single-player observer mode. The newly added observer mode allows players to watch AI generals battle, by creating custom games with specific parameters. This can also be used as a possible training tool or as a way to see if a team of normal AI players can combine their might to beat a single Insane AI.

Aside from that, the latest "Ashes of the Singularity: Escalation" update 2.1 also brought to the game unranked matches. This is best for testing out new strategies or even for just playing more chilled out, casual games.

In addition, it also introduced an option for disabling supply lines. With this feature, you do not have to constantly keep on checking if all of your adjacent regions are connected to your central Nexus in order to gain resources. When combined with unranked matches, this update is useful for giving the low level or new players a way to familiarize themselves with the basics of battle before launching into full-scale combat, says PCGamesn.
