It's no secret that CI Games' "Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3" will not support the native 4K resolution on the PlayStation 4 Pro when it hits the store shelves in April this year. However, there's no word regarding the game's resolution on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

When GamingBolt asked the game developer whether or not Xbox One and the Pro version of PlayStation 4 will be able to run "Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3" at 1080p resolution and 60 FPS (frames per second), CI Games said they plan to even up with the market standards and strike a perfect balance between performance and quality in order to deliver unparalleled gaming experience.

As a result, the developer noted, players can at least look forward to getting 30 FPS at 1080p on the PlayStation 4, while on the Xbox One they can expect 30 FPS at 900p.

'Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3' Beta For PC

Regrettably, the upcoming first-person tactical shooter's beta for PC is not spared from flaws. The beta version of "Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3" is infested with bugs, game-breaking errors and hard crashes. Although the core game is good enough to complete, it is not by any stretch of the imagination, the retail product that CI Games would want to release, TheSkylineView reported.

The beta comprises a couple of mission along with a slew of other side quests scattered around a tiny map. So far, the game seems to bear a striking resemblance to the "Far Cry" game series in a manner that players can eliminate outposts brimming with enemies and plus, missions are merged into the map.

It's worth noting that "Far Cry" is quite a successful series, and following in its footstep may be a good idea in terms of shifting the "Sniper: Ghost Warrior" series to the open world category. But, there's a possibility that the move could turn out to be disastrous as for a market that unceasingly clamors for change, plagiarizing a profitable but tired approach might fail to deliver the goods.
