‘Horizon Zero Dawn’ Collectible Reveals ‘Death Stranding’ Easter Egg; Mads Mikkelsen Reveals Something Interesting
Ritwik RoyA YouTuber who goes by the name YongYea has discovered a pretty cool "Death Stranding" Easter Egg in "Horizon Zero Dawn." Players will find a collectible in the game, whose thumbnail is the Kojima Productions logo. The item description says, "This object is valid only for curious merchants. Six blocks of oxidised metal twisted from one cable." This necklace in fact belongs to the character played by Norman Reedus in "Death Stranding." Just like the game, "Horizon Zero Dawn" also uses the Decima engine.
According to Push Square, Guerrilla Games and Kojima Productions have gone into a partnership on the Decima engine. The trinket found in "Horizon Zero Dawn" is called "Abandoned Amulet." It is represented in the game's menus as a silhouette of Ludens, the space knight who Kojima Productions has adopted as its mascot. Now fans believe that there has to be some sort of "Horizon Zero Dawn" reference in "Death Stranding" too. YongYea's YouTube video has been shared below.
Meanwhile, Mads Mikkelsen recently spoke about his role in the action-adventure game during Saudi Comic-Con. He said that his character is not a villain and it will be impossible for players to decide what he is. But he is surely not a villain in "Death Stranding." According to Gamepur, Kojia's games always this element of uncertainty when it comes to the game's characters until a reveal of sorts. In "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain," Skull Face is a multi-dimensional character and fans empathiseze with him despite he being a villain.
Kojima believes that "Death Stranding" has a solid story under development and it will have one beginning and one ending. This is because Kojima feels such stories create a greater impact and elevate the experience. Fans must be really excited to hear these from Kojima, as this could only mean something really exciting for the game. Moreover, "Death Stranding" won't be a horror game, strictly speaking, and the game will have an artistic tilt.
