Blizzard has been teasing video game fans about a new "Overwatch" character for quite some time. The video game company has recently dropped what probably is a big hint about the new playable character by introducing Efi Oladele.
Fans of the video game have been taken aback when Blizzard introduced Efi Oladele to the "Overwatch" lore. The new character is described as an 11-year old genius who excels in the field of AI and robotics.
Though there have been early speculations that Efi Oladele may be the next "Overwatch" playable character, there is now a consensus among fans that the 11-year old genius is not the playable character. According to several pieces of evidence gathered by "Overwatch" fans, Efi Oladele may just be the creator or inventor of the game's next playable character.
In the faux interview created by Blizzard to introduce Efi Oladele, the 11-year old genius mentioned that she dreams of creating something that will keep them safe, "like the new OR15s," Efi Oladele mentioned. There have been no reference about the OR15 in the game before Efi's introduction.
Because Efi was described as a genius who excels in AI and robotics, it is quite possible that OR15 is a robot that Efi has or will create. "Overwatch" fans have dug several evidence that seems to point out that OR15 may be a spider-like tank that Efi has created.
The mechaspider has appeared in several "Overwatch" concept arts and teaser trailers before. The spider-like tank also appeared in the May 2016 pre-launch trailer of the game.
With the evidence piling up, it seems that the reports that Doomfist will not be the next "Overwatch" character to be introduced in the game have already been proven. With the introduction of Efi Oladele, fans may not have to wait much longer to see the next "Overwatch" playable character.
