"I Am Setsuna" Nintendo Switch version will be launched on the same day that the new hybrid game console will be shipped worldwide. A trailer from Nintendo has confirmed that the Square Enix video game will be available for the Switch on March 3.

The "I Am Setsuna" Nintendo Switch trailer released by Nintendo UK was the same trailer shown for the Sony PlayStation 4 release of the Role Playing Game. No information have been released by Square Enix or Nintendo if the "I Am Setsuna" Switch game will have exclusive contents or features when it will be released for the hybrid video game console.

The JRPG was originally released on July 19, 2016 for the Sony PS4 and Windows PC. The concept of the game was written way back September of 2014 and the development of "I Am Setsuna" shortly began the following month. The game was developed using the Unity game engine.

The "I Am Setsuna" PS4 version was first announced during the 2015 Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) under the title "Project Setsuna." The game was also released for the Sony handheld console PlayStation Vita on Feb. 18, 2016.

The Single RPG has received average reviews from most video game review websites. IGN gave the single player RPG PS4 version a 7.5 rating while GameSpot gave it a 7 out of 10.

Most video game review sites pointed out that the main problem of "I Am Setsuna" is its convoluted battle system. IGN even remarked that the RPG has combat balance issues. "I Am Setsuna" was, however, praised for its beautifully crafted storyline, with IGN saying that the game successfully delivers a highly emotional tale.

The "I Am Setsuna" Nintendo Switch version will be released on the Nintendo Switch eShop on March 3. Video game fans can already play the game the moment they get a hold of the new hybrid game console.
