'Hitman: Absolution' Added To Xbox One Backward Compatible Games, 'Black Ops 2' Xbox BC Update
JPSquare Enix's "Hitman: Absolution" is heading to the Xbox One backward compatible games catalog. Microsoft's Larry Hyrb aka Major Nelson, announced the recent addition to the Xbox One BC titles on his official Twitter page.
According to GameStop, the Xbox One Backward Compatible project now has 320 video games on its list. The ever expanding library of the Xbox BC project has seen the release of some of the best Xbox 360 video game titles for the Xbox One.
Last week saw the release of "Grand Theft Auto IV" as an addition to the already impressive list of Xbox One Backward compatible games "Grand Theft Auto IV" Xbox One BC was released on Feb. 9.
A recent addition to the Xbox One Backward Compatibility project is Square Enix's "Hitman: Absolution." The stealth video game was added to the Xbox One BC on Feb. 14. The recent addition was announced by Microsoft's Major Nelson on his Twitter page.
"Hitman Absolution" was first released for the Xbox 360 on Nov. 20, 2012. The game was developed by IO Interactive and under the banner of game publisher Square Enix.
The single-player stealth video game is considered as one of the best video games in the "Hitman" game series. The events in "Hitman: Absolution" were set after "Hitman: Damnation" and "Hitman: Blood Money."
The release of "Hitman: Absolution" as an Xbox One Backward Compatible game was met by video game fans favorably. However, there are still those who are disappointed not with the game itself but because Microsoft is yet to release "Call of Duty: Black Ops II" as an Xbox One Backward Compatible title.
"Call of Duty: Black Ops II" is the most requested video game title to come to the Xbox One Backward Compatible project. However, there are still no updates as to when and if "Black Ops 2" will be released for Xbox One.
