Tesla Model 3 To Have Invisible Air Vents For A Quiet Interior; Autopilot & Supercharging Discussed
Ritwik RoyIf latest reports are to be believed, the Tesla Model 3 electric vehicle dashboard will have invisible air vents. Peeks at the vehicle's inside has also revealed a stark interior. There are also no instrument cluster and clock. A horizontally mounted touch screen and steering wheel have been spotted. A reliable source has revealed that "the A/C system uses the entire width of the dash to blow air from a centrally mounted fan." The Model 3 could be the first car without visible heating and cooling vents.
According to Jalopnik, this extremely different design could be to minimize fan noise, resulting in an unusually quiet interior. If this feature is a hit, Tesla may reproduce the same concept in its other vehicles. Although there is no official confirmation on the invisible air vents technology, Jalopnik believes it is true. The Tesla Model 3 will be the first reasonably-priced Tesla vehicle to be offered to the mass market. At least, Tesla would like its fans to believe so. It will be priced at $35,000 and will achieve minimum 215 miles range on the standard model.
According to Express, Tesla has revealed details about the Model 3, stating that the EV can go from 0-60mph in under 60 seconds. Moreover, it will be able to cover 200+ miles on a single charge. It is enough to cover the average daily commute for a week. Tesla Model 3 owners will have to charge their vehicles only once a week. Supercharging will also reduce charging time. Then there is the Autopilot technology that will be made available in every Model 3. It will provide driverless capabilities to the EV.
As most accidents are caused by human error, Tesla's Autppilot function will help in reducing such accidents is a technology for the future. The Model 3 will be able to comfortably seat five adults and will have a large touch screen device at the center of the dashboard. As has already been reported previously, the Tesla Model 3 may not arrive on time as Tesla is reportedly struggling to mass-produce the vehicle. Pre-orders have cross 400,000 and Tesla is having a tough time meeting the insane demand.
