'WWE Royal Rumble 2017' Shows New Two-Time Winner; Night Filled With Conflicts For Both Brands

The WWE Royal Rumble 2017 concluded with a bang, with the winner adding another accolade to an already decorated career. This brings the question on what could come next for the clashes, conflicts and continuities made for the two brands.

According to the official WWE site, the hype of the WWE Royal Rumble 2017 began with the announcement of the three most recognized superstars in the company today. These are the "Beast" Brock Lesnar, the "Deadman" The Undertaker, and the dubbed greatest champion in WCW history, Goldberg. But, apart from them, a heap of other events took place in the hour-long main event.

Starting at number one is the 7-foot talker, Big Cass, going up against the veteran Chris Jericho. As the two started, more superstars entered the ring, bringing some drama into the match. One is that of Braun Strowman and Sami Zayn, who both arrived simultaneously. The two have been at it for months, which apparently continues on to the 30-man brawl.

Another is the elimination of the now former RAW Tag Team Champions Cesaro and Sheamus, after losing the belt to Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows. The duo eliminated all three members of The New Day, but were eliminated themselves-resulting in a clash outside the ring.

More insinuated throughout the competition, like what seemed to be the collapse of the Wyatt family. Luke Harper, who can be recalled on going through a clash with Randy Orton, attacked Bray Wyatt and even attempted to give the "Eater of Worlds" his own signature Sister Abigail. For now, it may only be a matter of time before the real score on the group comes forth.

A few underdogs entered the arena, namely James Ellsworth and Jack Gallagher. However, the night went to flames with the arrival of the three powerhouses -- with controversial eliminations to note. Goldberg, once again, put Lesnar in an embarrassing situation, after hitting him with a spear and swinging him over the top rope only minutes after coming in.

The Undertaker also arrived in style, but was then tossed out by the last entry in the WWE Royal Rumble 2017, the "Big Dog," Roman Reigns. The night came to down three stars-the latter, with Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton. In the end, the Viper and Reigns were left, with Orton winning for the second time in his career.

Conflicts are expected to rise soon enough, such as that of Reigns and The Undertaker -- given that the legend left a heavy gaze before leaving. Orton now sets his eyes on the WWE World Championship, now held by John Cena after a grueling match with AJ Styles prior to the main event.
