‘Pokemon Sun and Moon’ Players Face Problems Transferring Missingno Via Pokemon Bank; Nearly 6,000 Players Banned For Illegal Gameplay
Ritwik RoyPlayers who are thinking of transferring Missingno to their favorite "Pokemon Sun and Moon" game, via the Pokemon Bank, must know that it is not possible. They will get a glitch instead that will mess up a lot of things in the game. The Pokemon Bank service allows players to transfer monsters between titles. Players have already tried transferring Pokemon's most infamous glitch into the service and then into the game. They tried to transfer the error monster Missingno but were highly disappointed.
According to Kotaku, when "Pokemon Red and Blue" were released on the 3DS virtual console, they retained all the glitches from the original release and that included Missingno. Now that Pokemon Bank allows players to transfer their favorite monsters from one game to the other, players were upbeat about transferring the error monster that acts like a Pokemon but messes with the battle functions and graphics. The transfer did not work as "Pokemon Sun and Moon" players got a message that problematic monsters cannot be transferred.
Players have reported that those that do make it through the transfer got glitched names, no longer referring to what they were originally called. Botched "Pokemon Sun and Moon" transfers may result in all kinds of Pokemon Bank quirks. Players have also complained about inaccurate shiny retention, randomized genders, wrong IVs and natures and move wonkiness. Players need to be careful as the Pokemon Company is going hard on "Pokemon Sun and Moon" players who alter with save files.
Like Niantic, "Pokemon Sun and Moon" developer has also banned around 6,000 players who have illegally affected the game via third-party software. The banned players won't enjoy access to the game's online functions anymore. Any attempt to access these functions will simply give an error code, writes TechnoBuffalo. Stay tuned on Mobile & Apps for more updates on the game "Pokemon Sun and Moon."
