‘Rick And Morty’ Season 3 Creators Are Not Fighting; Air Date Still Delayed But Series In Progress
Caitlin Moore"Rick and Morty" Season 3 has not received its official return date yet but at least, all the speculations about its creators fighting over the show have been put to rest. In his recent Twitter post, "Rick and Morty" co-creator Dan Harmon clarified the allegations that he is in conflict with co-creator Justin Roiland. He also made clear that the alleged fights are not the cause of the series delay.
"Re: confusion/concern about my comments in Indiewire interview re: Rick and Morty. The "fights" I refer to aren't "the reason 4 delay," Harmon tweeted. The tweet is followed by eight more statements to explain that the fights he was referring to in the Sundance Film Festival interview is not the usual serious fights.
"I'm talking about fights like 'what joke to do,'" he claimed. Now that Harmon already explained the truth behind the fights, he is left to explain why "Rick and Morty" Season 3 did not see a 2016 premiere. Though the show creator did not point exactly why the show's return has been delayed, he revealed that it is progressing and that team behind the series is now drawing the episodes.
He cannot, however, reveal the air date because he has limited access to the information. He said that Adult Swim is in charge of the scheduling so there is not much he can spill. Also, Harmon revealed that he and his team preferred not to tell fans specific details on how the show is progressing. The reason behind is that they don't want viewers to harass the writers and editors who finished and worked hard on it months ago.
"Rick and Morty" Season 3 is expected to premiere this year and it will apparently have 14 episodes in it as per Screen Crush. The previous season wrapped up in October 2015. Check out an episode below.
