Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan have recently reunited on the set of "Outlander" Season 3 to film Jamie Fraser and Claire Randall's reunion. According to MailOnline, the actors from the Starz drama were seen sporting an older look in line with the storyline based on Diana Gabaldon's third book, "Voyager."

Heughan and Balfe were spotted filming "Outlander" Season 3 at Royal Mile in Edinburgh. As most fans know, Claire and Jamie decided to part ways in order to give their daughter, Brianna, a safe and better environment to grow up in.

Jamie and Claire will be spending 20 years apart from each other, which explains the reason behind their older look once they reunite in "Outlander" Season 3. Claire thought that Jamie died during the Battle of Culloden until Brianna discovered that her real father was still alive.

While many fans and viewers are looking forward to the reunion scene between Jamie and Claire, "Outlander" Season 3 spoilers tease that it will not be as sweet and easy. In an interview with Elle, Balfe explained that Jamie and Claire spent a significant time away from each other and things are bound to be awkward and complicated between them.

However, Balfe teased that this will also lead to a "steamy" reunion once they are able to get past through their time apart from each other. "Outlander" Season 3 spoilers from the actress also reveal that the Starz drama will show Claire and Jamie's lives in those 20 years they spent apart.
