The "Justice League v Suicide Squad" #4 showed a rather controversial turn of events as it drew to an end recently. Spoilers are to be found below for the recent issue of the six-part comic book series.

Given that the series has fans cringing yet still following avidly, the newest issue may be looking at something more extreme. As the issue started, fans were treated to more action, highlighting the merging of both the Justice League and the Suicide Squad against the forces of Maxwell Lord.

According to a recent review by Comic Book, fans who have laid their eyes on "Justice League v Suicide Squad #4" witnessed how the original Suicide Squad of Amanda Waller is now teamed up with Max Lord, including the fan-favorite anti-hero, Lobo. In an intriguing twist, the plot showed how the Czarnian bounty hunter was about to kill Waller, in which Batman was forced to take action and get blood on his righteous hands by implanting a Waller brain bomb in Lobo's head and detonating it.

This came as quite a shock to the many fans for a few reasons. One, the Dark Knight broke his moral code. Two, and said to be a dilemma, is the death of Lobo in an instant. Many believe that such is simply a strategy to redirect the hype, as Lobo has been confirmed to appear in "Justice League of America" soon. Third is the fact that Lobo is an all-powerful entity that can instantly regenerate from all injuries rapidly, which leads to the presumption that Batman intended to do so simply to prove a point.

The ending of the issue shows how Max Lord intends to attack ARGUS and taking the Eclipso Diamond. Such gem enables the bearer to control the will of those appointed which, in this particular case, is the Justice League. It is said that only Harley Quinn and Batman are the ones left to deal with the treacherous predicament, as per IGN.
