With the release of three films from the Marvel Cinematic Universe this year starting off with the "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2", "Spider-Man: Homecoming" and "Thor: Ragnarok", Marvel fans will be anticipating 2018's "Avenger: Infinity War" that has now confirmed that a certain character from the "Guardians of the Galaxy" will be included in the film.

MTV News caught up with Zoey Saldana, who plays Gamora in "Guardians of the Galaxy" and asked her if she was in "Avengers: Infinity War," to which she responded with a nod. As for the script, Saldana said: "I don't know when they're gonna let me read it. I mean, I'm not looking forward to the five hours of green make-up, but every time I finally arrive on set I feel so happy and lucky to be there."

Screen Rant reports that it would make sense that Gamora would appear in the "Avengers: Infinity War" since she was the former and favorite daughter of Thanos. However, details of the roles of the Guardians in the "Infinity War" is still vague.

Gamora is surely a key presence since her family connection with Thanos could be a very important element of the team's effort to stop the Mad Titan from controlling the powerful Infinity Gauntlet in the Infinity War film.

Saldana also revealed some information from the "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" in the same interview, she have seen some of the film when she went for post-production dubbing. She said that James Gunn showed her several clips that "looks great." The second "Guardians" film will be released on May 5, 2017 in North America that features the return of the other cast members like Chris Pratt and Vin Diesel.

The "Avengers: Infinity War" will be released on May 4, 2018 while its untitled sequel will be released a year later on May 3, 2019 which marks the return of Chris Evans as Captain America and Robert Downey Jr as Iron Man. The film will also feature Benedict Cumberbatch as "Doctor Strange".
