'Beware The Slenderman': HBO Announces The Release Date Of The Crime Documentary

Slenderman is one of the most popular and most terrifying Urban Legends in the world which is now being created as a documentary film by HBO entitled "Beware the Slenderman". Horror fans are now excited because HBO has announced the release date of the said documentary which will be aired on Jan. 23, 201. The new title will also be available on HBO NOW, HBO GO and HBO On Demand.

"Beware th Slenderman" is a true story about  the infamous case of 12 year old girl who killed her friend in the woods of Wisconson in 2014, stabbing her 19 times. The child wanted to please the tall and faceless man known as the Slenderman who convinced her and other kids to murder their classmate.

The documentary is said to focus on the legend of Slenderman and how much his legend can affect a mind of the child where they are easily swayed by their fears according to Comic Book. The film also tells the side of the story of the parents on how they would cancel out the ideas of this kind of mythical stories.

Beware of Slenderman will feature the family members of the girls, testimonial from the court hearings and the exact footages from the police interrogation room. Cinima Blend reports that the documentary film will be directed byTaylor Brodsky, from the HBO's Oscar-nominated with The Final Inch and features interviews with the experts that help the girl's stabilize their mental state which includes including: digital folklorist Trevor J. Blank, Ph.D.; Brad Kim, editor-in-chief, KnowYourMeme.com; evolutionary biologist Richard Dawkins and more.

Some of the scenes of the Slenderman documentary are said to be difficult and disturbing to watch. Viewers can expect to experience a disturbing scenes that might give them nightmares. This documentary is not to be confused with the "Slender Man" movie by Sony's Scream Gems.
