Valve Announced Steam’s Best Selling Game of The Year 2016
Ralphy Bonn Sim2016 is an incredible year for video games industry. Some of the most awaited games of the decade have been released within this year, such as "The Last Guardian" and "Final Fantasy XV." In terms of mobile gaming, Nintendo changed its phase into mobile apps; releasing "Pokémon Go" and "Super Mario Run."
Valve has inserted together a list of the top best sellers on Steam as measured by a systematic process for its gross revenue in the whole year. Valve has divided the list into four categories: Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze.
These games managed to climb their gross revenue into Platinum Category; "The Division" is a third person shooting game which brought tactical agents into a world where society collapses its chaos.
"Fallout 4," an RPG game created by the award-winning game developers of "Fallout 3" and "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim," which is Bethesda Game Studios. Along with "Grand Theft Auto V," with its new online Import/Export Mode and "Counter-Strike: Global Offensive," features its latest maps, characters, weapons; including its updated version CS content.
Also "Dota 2,"a free-to-play competitive action and strategic game. Not behind the scene are the most controversial game of the year which is No Man's Sky, an exploration and survival game.
Tactical action games such as "Call of Duty: Black Ops," added by "Rise of the Tomb Raider," and "Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege," restrained their seats at the Gold Category along with "Stardew Valley," a game in an old farm scenario.
Survival games such as "Subnautica," "Rust" and "Dying Light: The Following - Enhanced Edition" claimed their spot at Silver category. Along with "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" and "The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited," which are both an RPG game.
In line with the Bronze category, "Football Manager 2016 and 2017 has gained their rights in the spot. Allowing Arkane's first-person action blockbuster and winner Game of the Year 2015 awards, "Dishonored" to join the category.
