Bad news for "Final Fantasy XV fans"! The spin-off mobile game entitle "Justice Monsters V" has been cancelled by their publisher, Square Enix. The publisher has been focusing on promoting the "Final Fantasy XV" which included the confirmation of the spin-off when it was announced last August 30, 2016.

Square Enix announced on their official site about the termination of the spin-off mobile game however, there were no specific reasons why the publisher cancelled the game. The developer also apologized to the affected players who were anticipating and patiently waiting for the game which will be shutting down on March 27, 2017.

The "Justice Monsters V" is supposedly to be a free-to-play mobile game on both iOS and Android devices which also includes an in-app purchase according to WWG. The cancelled game features a lot of iconic monsters from the "Final Fantasy XV" universe and was also styled as the "some kind of crazy pinball-meets-slots game of chance".

Players who purchased microtransactions in the game need not worry. Through the Gold Orbs currency, Square Enix is going to refund any unused Orbs when the spin-off game goes offline which starting February 27, 2017 there will no more Gold Orbs available for purchase.

The "Justice Monsters V" players can still play the game in a simple and toned down version of the game which will be available in the upcoming "Final Fantasy XV". The spin-off series did not meet the initial and expected revenue earnings which was originally planned for a Windows 10 version.

Square Enix also produced a six-part anime miniseries called "Brotherhood" as part of the promotion for the "Final Fantasy XV" which is doing very well. Fans can watch the entire series for free on Youtube or you can watch it below here.
