Samsung has now started to release the additional update for the Galaxy S7 devices registered in the beta program, with several minor stability enhancements. The Android 7.0 Nougat beta is at present being sent out in South Korea and the UK.

The South Korean phone maker is on track in rolling out the Android 7.0 Nougat beta for Galaxy S7 duo to beta testers in the UK and South Korea. The latest beta update, according to Wccftech, brings some minimal improvements and performance enhancements, without any new features or major new changes. In addition, this fifth update fixes some previous bugs, such as the issue on rebooting.

This specific update is exclusively sent to customers who are part of the Galaxy Beta program. It is a closed beta-testing program intended to tidy out any errors with pre-release software before an extensive commercial release. One remarkable change in the Android 7.0 Nougat beta is transparency for notifications on the lock screen. It makes the wallpaper visible regardless of the numbers of notifications. Moreover, the update is also available for the regular Galaxy S7, so be updated if you have been selected to take part in the beta program, says Sammobile.

Android 7.0 Nougat beta is apparently available to both the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge devices registered with the now-closed beta testing Galaxy Beta program. The latest beta update for Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge weighs 300MB. Samsung is highly anticipated to finally fix all the bugs and flaws and begin the release to public of Android 7.0 Nougat to its flagship smartphones. Major android manufacturers have previously released Android Nougat to their flagship phones. Among them are HTC, Sony, LG and Huawei.
