'Kingdom Hearts 2.8' Releases A Sneak Peek And Reveals 'Kingdom Hearts 0.2: Birth By Sleep'

"Kingdom Hearts 2.8' was originally scheduled to be released this year but the game was held back giving way to one of the most anticipated RPG game, "Final Fantasy XV". However, Square Enix gave a special preview and sneak peek to the fans that were patiently waiting for the action-role playing game giving them a heads up on all three parts of the game.

Gematsu reported that there will three parts of the "Kingdom Hearts 0.2: Birth By Sleep", which is the Fragmentary Passage, Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance HD and the Kingdom Heart X Back Cover. In the "Kingdom Hearts 2.8", A Fragmentary Passage is a side story which leads to the "Kingdom Hearts 3" , the Kingdom Hears Dream Drop Distance HD is a remaster of the 3DS spin-off and Back Cover is a movie that fills in more plot details.

Gematsu also posted some screenshots of the game that most of the fans were excited about especially the team up of Aqua and Mickey. Players will have to meet and can possibly team up with King Mickey in the World of Darkness in order for the players for Mickey to become his ally the players may have to use the technique called the "Wayfinder" with him.

Additional new spirits will also be available in the "Kingdom Hearts 2.8", Sora and Riku are considered as good spirits while Yuagari Penguin, Pondanyan and Bittoppoi are considered as New Dream Eaters. According to Dual Shockers there are certain accessories for Aqua's back, head and shoulder that will be available and can be attaches as well as variety of costume changes for Aqua.

"Kingdom Hearts 2.8" will be released on January 12 in Japan and on January 24 in US, Canada and Europe. The game will be released for PlayStation consoles and a new Keyblade and Frog Throphy were also added for the HD remaster of the game.
