Reuters reported that the exchange program is offered in South Korea and "the availability of such a program in other markets will be dependent on the situation in each country."
It has been said that the company is working so hard to make its upcoming device as perfect as possible after the "explosive scandal" relating to the Galaxy Note 7 smartphone.

The US version of the device is said to be powerful as it is expected to house a Snapdragon 830 CPU. In other markets, the Galaxy S8 is projected to run an Exynos SoC with 4GB of RAM. However, the Dream 2 model is said to pack 6GB of RAM.
In terms of its camera, the device is anticipated to have dual-lens camera with a resolution between 18 and 24 megapixels and f/1.4 aperture which is perfect for low-light views.
The device is reported to feature Al virtual assistant and optical fingerprint scanner. Recent reports suggested that an iris scanner will also be included in the Galaxy S8.
