'WWE 2K17' Update Releases A Bug That Makes Players Want To Hit The In-Game Referee Intentionally

With the "WWE 2K17" patch launched, a lot of fixes were rolled out, with one particular bug introduced. This involves the referee ignoring the pin-fall attempts, making the match go on endless.

As with a lot of games, especially sports, "WWE 2K17" isn't a stranger to bugs and glitches. The team behind it is always hard at work and clearing everything out for that perfect recreation of epic match-ups, but this one particular update, which was just recently released, causes the referee not count on pin-fall attempts.

A number of players have voiced out this issue regarding the ignorant referee. 2K's response, however, isn't turning out to be that effective as they only advise players to "clear" their caches. Several players have tried this solution and worked for them.

For the PlayStation 4, clearing the cache is particularly easy as it only involves holding the PS button to "Turn Off" the console and leaving it for at least 20 - 30 seconds.

Xbox One players need to turn off the console and disconnect it from the power brick. Afterwards, the users need to press the power button on the front of the Xbox One at least four times. This would also clear the cache of the console.

For Steam users, it simply involves right-clicking the game and selecting "Properties." Once the new dialog box opens, the option "Verify Integrity of Game Cache" needs to be clicked.

These methods works most of the time, but some players report that after another match, the bug resurfaces. Some decides to hit the player intentionally in order to make them move again, while others just opt to restart the match, which is not ideal.

There's isn't any official fix for this yet, nor has 2K announced about working for an actual fix, but players can expect them to take notice as the reports regarding the bug is slowly reaching an alarming rate.
