Lately, theories about "Adventure Time" continue to circulate on the web since it is about to end with its ninth season by 2018.

The finale of the series was first revealed in a statement by the creator, Pendleton Ward.

"'Adventure Time' was a passion project for the people on the crew who poured their heart into the art and stories. We tried to put into every episode something genuine and telling from our lives, and make a show that was personal to us, and that had jokes too! I'm really happy that it connected with an audience for so long. It's a special thing, I think," he said.

"Adventure Time" is yet to air two more episodes of the Season 7 entitled "Preboot" and "Reboot." The previous is projected to premiere this month, while the latter will be out in November 2016.

Earlier, there were rumors that the "Reboot" video was disclosed, and immediately taken down.

It was said that the Season 7 finale could be for Lich's appearance or probably a time traveling chapter where on "Preboot," Finn and Jake could get to travel to the beginning of the world while in "Reboot," they get to travel at its end.

The finale, however, is expected to answer all the questions which keep fans addicted on to the series.

On the other hand, a fan theory said that the whole "Adventure Time" story is made-up by a real life human Finn, who is in coma, alongside is his forever faithful dog, Jake.

"Adventure Time" is one of the greatest TV shows made by Cartoon Network.

According to Rob Sorcher, the chief content officer for Cartoon Network, "'Adventure Time' changed the definition of what a kids' TV series could be, and it's had a resounding impact upon popular culture around the world."

"Cartoon Network Studios is proud to have brought together this group of brilliant artists and animators who helped make 'Adventure Tim'e one of the most critically acclaimed TV series of a generation," he added.

Alhough no one knows what "Adventure Time" could offer in its finale, the animated series will surely go out with a bang.
