Samsung is working on its new Galaxy Tab S3 and the South Korean tech company remains silent regarding its release date. However, some rumors suggest that it will be launched next year as the recently concluded IFA event in Berlin has not given any light on the highly anticipated device.
Trusted Reviews reported that Samsung is close to launching the device as the company has applied before the FCC (USA's highest certification board for telecommunications devices) for certification since all smartphones or tablet traded in the US must be officially approved by the said agency.
The leaked design of Samsung Galaxy Tab 3, as shown by Evan Blass in his Twitter account, is not so different from its predecessors. Still, it was reported that the display's aspect ratio has reverted back to 16:10 from 4:3, which is not so good as a squarer tablet is much favored by consumers. Also, the device might sport a 4K display.
The new tablet is expected to feature an AMOLED screen which has 8-inch and 9.7-inch variant. It is likely to pack an octa-core Exynos 8890 chipset just like like Galaxy Note 7, Galaxy S7, and Galaxy S7 Edge compared to the Galaxy Tab S2, which is equipped with Exynos 7 Octa 5433 chip. Some rumors suggest that it will house a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor.
Moreover, the device is said to house 4GB of RAM and an internal storage options between 32GB and 64GB.
In terms of its camera, it is rumored to feature an 8-megapixel front and 2-megapixel selfie camera.
Samsung is most likely to use USB Type C as the company has already featured it on Galaxy Note 7. The highly-anticipated tablet is likely to be waterproof and will feature Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 operating system.
The Battery Life of a certain device is one of the most important things to consider as well. With the Galaxy Tab S3, it is expected to manage 14.2 hours screen-on-time.
The Tab S3 is said to come out with two color options, color white and black, and might have a starting price tag of $420.
However, Samsung has is yet to give any official statement about its new Galaxy Tab S3.
