A new gameplay trailer for Koei Tecmo's "Berserk: Musou" began streaming online, giving thousands of fans a glimpse at what's in store. The hack-and-slash game will be released in Japan on Oct. 27, 2016.
On Sept. 15, Thursday, Koei Tecmo Europe began streaming an English Tokyo Game Show trailer for "Berserk: Musou," revealing the game's official English title, "Berserk and the Band of the Hawk." It will ship in North America on February 21 and in Europe on February 24 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita and Microsoft Windows.
As per Anime News Network, the download and standard physical release of "Berserk and the Band of the Hawk" for PlayStation 4 will cost 7,800 yen (approximately $74), while 6,800 yen ($65) for PlayStation Vita. The PlayStation 3 version is accessible for download only and costs around 7,800 yen.
Developed by Omega Force, "Berserk and the Band of the Hawk" takes after the narrative of the Kentaro Miura's "Berserk" manga series, beginning in the Golden Age Arc and ending in the Hawk of the Millennium Empire Arc. The game's playable character roster are Guts, Griffith, Casca, Judeau, Serpico, Schierke, Zodd, and Wyald.

The hack-and-slash game is set in extensive areas based on various locations in the manga's universe. Players may pick a single character they want to control, as they confront hordes of demons and other monsters to slay in a battle.

Players can also enjoy the game's Story Mode, where they will advance through the story of "Berserk" from the Black Swordsman arc through the Falcon of the Millennium Empire arc. In this mode, players can reportedly interact with other players and partake in different memorable battles from the series.
