Rumors after rumors, "Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location" has been a mystery for a long time. Now, a release date is posted on its site. Could this be the real deal?
The official website shows a date clear as day. It reads, "10-7-16." This could easily translate to October 7 2017, but given the history of how Scott trolls his fans, it could be something else.
The website also shows an image of a clown animatronics' head with an empty eye socket. For some fans, it could be an easy guess that this would be the release date. On Steam, the product description shows a release date of October 7, 2017.
On Scott's own website, he said that fans should only "trust" his website and his official Steam pages for "Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location," and both pages do suggest the same thing and that's the game's release date this coming October 7.
The developer may still be trolling people with these updates, but with Steam involved, figures start to be a bit more believable. The message on his official website can get cryptic at times, but Steam's posted release date is clear as day when it says "Available: October 7" and "This game will unlock in approximately 5 weeks."
If this would be the case, reports and rumors about "Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location" being canceled are debunked, even the theory about its release date a few days ahead of Halloween.
"Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location" is the fifth game in the series and the first spinoff from the FnaF series and the game's setting will on the sister location, also called Circus Baby's Pizza World.
Hopefully, no more fan-trolling is happening and gamers will finally get the scare of their lives once again after "Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location" gets released in a couple of weeks. Fans should be getting their fingers crossed now.
