iOS 9.3.3 Jailbreak: Has Pangu Cracked The Code? Software Tool Craking iOS 10 Shown
Jazz RosinUPDATE:
Pangu released a video showcasing a working jailbreak for the iOS 10 during the Mobile Security Conference (MOSEC). Although the said software is still in its beta stage, the video showed that Cydia is working fine, reported blogger Stephen Chan.
Moreover, it is rumored that Pangu will release the jailbreak for iOS 9.3.2 this week.
---------------------
The jailbreaking community has been keeping quiet about the iOS 9.3 firmware. However, an unofficial tool from China-based jailbreak site Pangu seems to have a working solution to the iOS 9.3.3, despite not rolling out any jailbreaks since iOS 9.1.
In the website Pangu Jailbreak, the said tool is said to work with iOS 9.3.3 developer beta 1 and 2, and is aiming to release this as soon as Apple officially releases the firmware to the public.
The site warned that the unofficial Pangu 2.3 software is still unavailable for the public and strongly advised people not to search for the program online.
"Don't try to search this tool on file sharing sites or full software sites," Pangu warned. "Some sites ask you to complete the online survey to download this tool, But you will nothing get after you complete the survey."
As for Apple fixing the iOS 9.3.3 jailbreak in the future, Pangu has this to say.
"Sometimes, Apple may fix security issues and iOS 9.3.3 with their further beta updates," the jailbreak team said. "That's why Jailbreak hackers hesitate to release the beta jailbreak to public"
"Apple has not fixed any unpublished beta Jailbreak with public iOS version release," Pangu declared.
The site has also recommended an upgrade to iOS 9.3.3 if the device is on iOS 9.3.2 semi jailbreak or TaiG 9 partial jailbreak, as partial jailbreaks are not available on 9.3.3 at this time.
Meanwhile, Italian hacker Luca Todesco (qwertyuiop on Twitter) has exploited the iOS 9.3.3 beta 1, and may release the jailbreak tool, called the GasGauge Jailbreak, for it for the first time.
Todesco has never released any of his jailbreak tools to the public.
