With all the rumors trending all over the internet about the much-awaited iPhone 7, few reports have emerged recently, which suggests that the new Apple smartphone will ditch its old aluminum casing for a new attractive glass casing. The reports suggest that the iPhone 7 will undergo major redesign process starting with the all-glass look.
Mirror reported that the latest update about the glass casing surfaced when one of the Apple's key suppliers confirmed the news. The chairman and CEO of Taiwan's Catcher Technology, Allen Horng, recently revealed that the company has plans to make the upcoming iPhone 7 using a glass casing.
Earlier, there were reports that Apple had started a production lab in Taiwan to develop future products with the latest technology. The recent update on the glass casing is reported to be one of the latest developments from Apple's new laboratory in Taiwan. Allen also said that an advanced processing technology is also being developed to support the glass casing in the new iPhone 7.
Further, Tech Insider reported that Apple would also drop its home screen button in the latest smartphone version i.e. iPhone 7. It is also reported that the new device will have a thicker dimension than its predecessors, even though the 3.5mm audio jack is expected to be dropped from the phone.
Besides, there are reports that the new all-glass iPhone 7 will feature an AMOLED display with A10 processor. The new smartphone from apple will also feature the latest version of Apple's operating system i.e. iOS 10.
Know Your Mobile reported that the iPhone 7 Plus variant would be a 256 GB phone with no Smart Connector functionality. The reports suggest that the iPhone 7 users will have to rest on the Bluetooth and Lightning connector accessories for the same.
In addition, few leaked images have revealed that the new device will consist of four speakers, which will be placed at the top and bottom. News Every Day reported that Apple has already placed around 72 to 78 million device orders with its manufacturers, Foxconn, and Pegatron.
There are reports that Apple is expecting a huge sale of iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus smartphones this year and as a result, the company wants to be ready to meet the customer's demand for the much-awaited devices of 2017.
